The level of care I received here was unlike any other mental health practice that I’ve been to on my 20 year journey in finding help with severe depression. The staff and doctor genuinely care and desire for you to feel better. After my first visit, I left weeping, overwhelmed by the love and support I experienced; they are the example of how all medical facilities should be. I did seven Ketamine treatments. I noticed some improvements during treatment, but the big change began to take place several weeks after the treatments. It’s been about four months now since my last infusion and I can honestly say that I haven’t had a suicidal thought since the treatment started and this is the best I’ve felt mentally in over a decade. I’ve been able to genuinely engage with my family, the pessimism I’ve always carried has lessened dramatically and for the first time, I don’t feel hopeless that I won’t always be shut down, dark and depressed. I feel as though I’ve gotten my life back. I credit the ketamine treatments mixed with the love and care provided by the Boyette clinic for helping me get to this point; all of this combined with 20 years of self-work has finally brought me to a place of relief. The greatest thing is my family noticing the difference and no longer feeling like a burden to them.
