I am so grateful for Rubi Escobar LIAC for his help for my loved one. He is wise, tempered, beyond kind and a skilled therapist. We felt his own experience as a family man enhanced his approach to our therapy. He absolutely goes the extra mile to be supportive - genuinely involved in seeing you get your best result on a long term basis . Caring and convenient mental health support

The folks at Desert Health have been nothing but helpful and caring. For both psychiatry and therapy, I could not be happier with their service. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

I've been going here for 5 years and I am leaving. It was requested I get a UA over the holidays if I wanted to continue my prescription due to DEA guidelines for telehealth. Not true, DEA extended COVID rules until the end of 2026. I've been stable on the medication for 4 years and have never misused it. I work 50 hrs a week and we were short staffed so I was unable to get one done. I scheduled an appointment and asked for a 30 day script so I could request PTO to get it done. The provider agreed but never sent the script. I called back and asked again, it was again, not sent. I ran out of medication I need for the weekend (plus paid for a visit that was worthless). I called and left an upset message over the weekend and have yet to be called back. This is unacceptable for people who are experiencing mental health issues. I have found a new psych who sent receptive, sent my meds asap, and doesn't have crap office staff. The billing is also a mess with some third party billing confusion. Via Condios DHC!

I've been with Desert Health Clinic for years now, almost 5 years at this point i believe, and cycled through a few of their Psychiatrists in that time, and i'm currently working with Nicola Lawrence who has been absolutely wonderful in working with me to find treatments that actually work. I have a very complex medical and psychiatric history with diagnoses ranging from Bipolar, ADHD, CPTSD, and a host of other conditions that all require careful management of medications, and i've been through countless combinations of different medications that have had vastly varying affects on me, and Nicola has helped tremendously in getting me to a place where i'm actually starting to feel like myself. Recovery, healing, all that, it's never easy, but working with DHC and specifically Nicola Lawrence has made it much less painless than it would've been otherwise, and even through countless hurdles with insurance and payment, the staff as a whole have always done their best to work with me when i needed some extra help. Nicola is also just generally very comfortable to talk through issues with, and has always been supportive with my needs, making me feel actually heard and cared for. I genuinely cannot recommend them enough!

I have been at Sonoran desert health for about 4 years now and have been under the care of Nicola Lawrence for 2 of those 4. I cannot recommend anywhere more than here. They have been so helpful and kind to me every step of the way. The team and Nicola make me feel comfortable and are extremely supportive and helpful.
