Dr. Wolfsohn and her team are unlike any other I've experienced, and I have a lot of other health problems. She will make sure to contact any other doctors you see to exchange updates and treat you holistically. She'll check up on you if you're not doing so well. You can tell she's really conscientious in everything she does. She gives thorough advice in preparing and integrating your ketamine session. The rooms are very clean and calming. There's lots of laughter and love. I've done ketamine therapy before at Ketamine Clinics of Los Angeles, but without concurrent psychotherapy. Without psychotherapy, I felt I had some big insights in my first sessions, but after that plateaued. It seemed to just be peaceful imagery that meant nothing. With concurrent psychotherapy at this office, I'm much more able to explore various themes pertinent to both my daily life and inner life. I've had so many more breakthroughs. The current regimen I'm on is a booster every 3-8 weeks. I get relief from depression and SI for about 3.5 weeks, and then symptoms return. Since then, I've experienced less fear regarding my sexual assault history, a dental trauma (even preparing for dental surgery right now), fewer cognitive distortions, more peace with the loss of a friend, much less dissociation, and more emotional regulation. My therapist, Rachel Bornfeld, was recommended to my by Dr. Wolfsohn. She really understands me and is wise. I tried over 35 medications prior to ketamine to no avail. It's saved my life on multiple occasions. Each IV session is $600, though some have luck with insurance. I believe Dr. Wolfsohn also offers IM, sublingual, and nasal ketamine at lower prices.
