Admin is terrible. They can't keep track of appointments, will charge you additional co-pays, etc. My doctor went on leave and when I needed to make a new appointment with a new provider they told me there were literally 0 other doctors able to take her patients.

Do not give them your card, ask for receipts of everything. they will fraudulently process charges and never check or provide you any information on your bills no matter now often you ask for your bill in writing or by phone. Doctors and some of the staff are good but the Billing is a sham that is never accessible. If you truly care about this business whoever owns and runs it needs to do an overhaul of the bill process and department. Until that is fixed I can't recommend this organization at all.

UPDATE: MHS did look into this for me and resolve my copay amounts, as well as refund me what I was overcharged, which I really appreciate. While I do wish they had more means of direct communication beyond their customer service portal, their customer service always has been great, and I love that they wanted to make this right. While I had an overall good experience with my provider and getting on medication, I did run into quite some issues. They started charging me almost 3x as much for my 10-minute zoom call followups, without any forewarning until I was checking in (when it's too late to reschedule or face a hefty fee). I was never told why my copays shot up, but I just finally found out during my process of calling to cancel. Apparently, my provider no longer works for the MHS location in my area, and she had moved upstate, no longer being covered by my insurance. And I was never informed of this. I did like the ease of getting an initial appointment pretty fast, and being able to do things virtually. But these are pretty serious communication problems that I've never experienced from any other doctor's office.

If your are struggling with a mental health issue, keep looking. While setting up my first telehealth appt was simple and Dr Chin was thorough, eveything else after that was so chaotic. From failed appt reminders to no messages at all, it truly seems like this operation needs much better oversight with some real examination needed for process, procedures and communication. I have spoken to Brenda the OPs manager. She was not overly courteous when hearing my frustration. I got a call today 30 minutes before my appt asking "if I was coming today". Now they are "trying" to confirm a long standing appt for tomorrow telling me the person that scheduled it wasn't the person the should have scheduled it. I confirmed that appt yesterday with the person that schedule it! I really dont have much trust in the care I will get here. Sadly, it's close, convenient and under my insurance plan, otherwise I would walk away in a minute.

I don't trust these reviews. They are very likely fake. *Notice how many of the recent 5 star reviews are from random new accounts who only review Mindful Health Solutions locations. Unfortunately this office has lost its way. I had a treatment yesterday and what was once a private session has now turned into a messy and cluttered experience with multiple people put into tiny rooms. Four different times random people walked into the room and were confused about where they should be or who I even was. A heavy freestanding room divider crashed onto the floor and almost fell on top of me in the middle of my session, and I had to be moved to a random office. The rooms are also completely in violation of ADA laws which is shocking. They're going to get sued eventually and it will be their fault. It's an absolute mess. Completely unacceptable and I can't believe how far this place has fallen.

Update-After leaving 3 message on my patient portal, calling twice and getting an answer machine and no return calls and no response from "customer feedback" who responded below I'm giving up on ever getting help from this place. They aren't acknowledging the appointment I made with my practioner in person. They have me scheduled for a random date i never agreed to or even knew about. I'm pretty sure they're going to bill me if I don't show up to the appointment they say doesn't exist because obviously this place is a disaster. Check the 5 star reviews, most of them are absolutely fake. These evil people are taking advantage of people with mental health problems. I love my actual practioner, but there's a good chance the admin side of this place will give you more anxiety than you started off with. I had problems right from the start with a incorrect billing issues that they kept repeating, even after I thought it was all sorted. They weren't apologetic about it either at the time but have definitely tried to be nicer since. I guess having a patient having a panic attack in the waiting area wasn't such a good look. So last week i couldn't access my patient portal, tried for a few days hoping it was a temporary issue but finally had to call them today. After a while on hold, I got through and they sent me a "activation" email and said they "updated the system." But now everything on my portal is blank, all of my information is gone, no chance to check or change appointments, no refill requests or past communications or messaging options, all my insurance details are empty. My original patient portal is obviously gone forever and im starting from new. Now Im woried they had a data breach or something? I called again and this time after being on hold for a while I just got a voice mail option. Now I'm waiting for a call back, its been over an hour. If you're unfortunate enough to have mental health issues like me, that give you very low capabilities of dealing with things that make life more complicated and stressful than expected, maybe don't come here😏.

I was able to get the care I needed in a rapid manner. The clinician who worked with me was professional and I agreed with his recommendations. I truly don't think I could have gotten such an accurate diagnosis so quickly anywhere else. Mindful Health Solutions is one of a kind.
