I was at this practice for a couple of years and lost two great providers to high turnover. The office staff is also a high turnover. I've been trying to get a refund for copays they kept collecting for six months for a year now and they will not communicate with me about my account or provide the refund owed to me. Make sure you track your copays and stop paying them when you know you've met your out of pocket because you won't get a refund. This issue has been through the hands of 5 people at the Sierra College office and still no refund for copays overpaid back in 2024. I have found after leaving the clinic for a new place how much more other clinics care about their patients.

I've been going here for years. I'll admit I miss when things felt more personable, it feels like since they updated their system and restructured things its difficult to be in touch with the doctor as much via email which was incredibly helpful and it was nice knowing your receptionist.. it seems like each message in the portal is 5 or so different people and the familiarity and connection is gone and the check in process is a bit of jumping through hoops at times.. There have been gaps in communication since the system update and I think it has to do with "too many cooks in the kitchen" and less direct points of contact BUT not once have I ever had a rude encounter or bad experience with MHS. My dr has been a literal life saver all these years and I am so thankful to have come across this place and found him. I'll never look elsewhere for treatment because of how efficient and empathetic my dr has been. I can't recommend this place enough. The staff have always been friendly even with the minor hiccups, they're usually pretty quick to fix an error and do their best to stay on top of things. I've never had an issue with med refills, typically I just reach out when needed and its been taken care of so long as im not requesting a dose adjustment or rx change.

Mindful solutions is a Godsend! I’ve been suffering with moderate depression too long. But the last 2 1/2 yrs have been the worst. This golden opportunity has proven to me there is hope. The staff in the Roseville office are beautiful people. They all make me feel so welcoming and this was the best decision I could have made for myself. I’m so grateful for everyone there 🙏💕

I had been a patient prior to being sold to Mindful Health Solutions. I loved my previous Dr. Ever since it's become MHS, I have had a HORRIBLE experience. They are supposed to be a safe place to turn to when you're dealing with mental health issues. They've made it worse 😔

Doctor of MHS is a good professionalist he is brilliant and experienced in his speciality.treat very fairly and honestly.

Absolute worst experience of my life and ended up making my anxiety 10x worse. They don’t refill medications on time and if you call them to request a refill they’ll either give you the run around or they’ll never pick up the phone. If you attempt to use the patient portal and send messages just know the doctor never sees the messages. Instead the front desk handles them all and can decided at any point that they deem the issue resolved. I missed an appointment in beginning of April and was told I would not be able to receive my medication until I saw my provider (even though said provider is the 3rd doctor I’ve had that’s now leaving the practice.) Fast forward after hours and hours of calling and getting connected to different offices I finally reached through to a supervisor that was able to get me on boarded with a new doctor. I was told by the supervisor that I would receive a call back later that day informing me if the new doctor would be able to push my meds through until I could see them for an appointment on May 7th (over weeks away from the current date) After not hearing back I message the portal to be met with none other than “Ashley” the front desk worker. I explained to ashley that I spoke with the supervisor and she was supposed to call me back about refilling meds and about an item I lost at the office. Her response was “Matthew I’ve already told you, you will not receive your meds until you see your doctor.” Again I attempted to explain that I was in need of my meds as it had now been a few days and that I really would like to speak with the supervisor to find out what my new provider said about the situation. My message was never responded too, I never received a call and I never spoke with anyone… Ashley marked my case as resolved ending the message thread. Later that night I was submitted to the ER for chest pain and Premature Ventricular Contractions in my heart. The ER doctor diagnosed the problem as stress and anxiety and provided me my meds. The following day being very upset with what had transpired due to the negligence of mindful health solutions I decided to go with my mother and submit a written complaint in office. Before I continue I want to sort it be known Mindful Health Solutions themselves state: “The patient has the right to freely voice grievances and recommend changes in care without fear of reprisal or interruption of services.” Upon arrival, the front desk initially acted like they didn’t know if they had complaint forms in their possession or how to go about processing them but one of the only good people there, (Jenny), was kind enough to provide me and my mom with the forms and pens to fill them out. About 15 minutes into filling out the formal complain form a sheriff walked into the office and asked me and my mother to leave the premises. We asked why and he said because the office has requested and it is private property. We never were asked to leave by staff prior to his arrival and we were calm and polite the entire time as well. About 10 minutes after leaving the premise we received a call from Jenny (The only helpful staff member in the entire office , who also happened to be in training still.) She asked where we had gone and we explained we were asked to leave the office by the sheriff. According to her she had no clue anyone had called or why. Fast forward to 10PM that same night, I never received a call from management that said they would be in contact today and I never heard anything back from any supervisor about my missing personal items that were left with staff in the office after I forgot them at an appointment in the past. Stay as far away from this place as you can. Personally I will be submitting complaints to the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as well as the Sacramento District Office for the California Department of Public Health

She's amazing. I'm so thankful I found her on grow therapy. She will be a permanent trauma counselor.
