I have been a patient with Dr Castro for quite a few months, and the TMS has helped me dramatically. At first it didn't seem like it would be for me, but I slowly started to notice changes. The doctor and all his staff are very friendly, patient focused, and amazing. I was never bothered by any part of TMS. I found it quite relaxing, even!

I just completed a round of TMS Therapy at Brandywine Valley TMS and the how I feel compared to when I started is night and day. When I began TMS there I was feeling very depressed and hopeless. Now a few months later I actually feel good and what I imagine a normal person feels like. Dr.Castro and Dayana were very patient with me and made me feel very comfortable during every appointment. I actually miss going to my TMS Therapy sessions now. I would recommend anyone with severe depression to go there for help. TMS in general has saved my life.

I was diagnosed with depression and PTSD many years ago. I went through and continue to the common medications and talk therapies. I and my doctors had felt I had really plateaued and needed something else and I was not real interested in more medications. That's when I heard about TMS. I did some research on line and was very excited about what I found. From sending the first request for information to sitting in the office in front of Dr. Castro was less than 10 days. At that first meeting he really made me feel comfortable and confident in the TMS treatment. He explained what it is and what it is not. He also explained that everyone's results can be different. After submitting and receiving the approval from insurance my first session was scheduled within 72 hours. From the first day Dr. Castro and the medical assistant could not do any more to make me comfortable. The therapy is not painful at all. I was lucky and did not experienced any side effects at all. I started feeling a difference with in less than 1 week. It wasn't just myself but my family, friends and co-workers even commented that they noticed a difference too. I am very glad I decided to go through with the TMS therapy and strongly recommend anyone that has been battling treatment resistant depression and or PTSD to contact Brandywine Valley TMS and see if this is something they can benefit from too.
