My experience was amazing i’d highly recommend this center.

Brought my sister here and they were extremely friendly! They were going to let me sit with my sister and they even moved a chair in there for me. But I told them that I'd rather have her be there focusing on her infusion. The staff and everybody is so professional and courteous and kind. Even though I did not have the infusion, I would highly recommend them! We even brought her support dog Irving with us. For those who bring loved ones to this place, the lobby is very comfortable. Very relaxing! And for those who have to drive long distances, they even have little munchies for you and beverages.😊

My journey to starting Ketamine Treatments took me about almost 20 years of trying different medications that never worked, going to treatment programs that helped for maybe a month or two and even included some hospital/ psych ward stays. I was in the deepest depression I had ever been in, not being able to find a purpose and letting my Anxiety, Depression and Borderline personality ruin my whole life for 5 years. I was sure I was at the end of my life, and then I found AKC. I have had an amazing experience working with AKC. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. It’s nice to also be able to work closely with a doctor who is very well versed in Ketamine Infusions. I love AKC and the help that I’ve received from the infusions have been life changing. I do not believe I would be alive if I had not found AKC. I struggle with Borderline Personality Disorder and it has been life changing for that. Regulating my emotions especially with BPD is hard but though ketamine has made my life manageable. The treatment center itself has a warm and welcoming vibe. They have lots of great drinks and snacks for after your treatment. You are sitting in a "lazy boy" type of chair that you can adjust, they have fuzzy and weighted blankets, lights that they turn on the wall, theres a big tv in front of you if you want to watch or listen to music or meditation. They are beyond accommodating and the people that work there are really what makes AKC so special. From the lady at the front desk (Jenny) to all of the nurses and to the Doctor, they are what makes this place so comforting and run so smoothly. It is hard to find a ketamine center that doesnt feel like a hospital and where you are not met with the nicest people. AKC is the opposite of that and I thank God that I am able to work with AKC and I can not say enough positive things about the experiences that I have had there. Thank you AKC!!

An all around amazing experience

The staff is simply amazing and kind. I’ve been going about 2 months and it has literally changed my life for the BEST!!

As a lay mental health counselor, I have been aware of ketamine therapy for several years but now have seen the effects personally as I’ve witnessed my son’s very positive response to his first infusion. He has become engaged with the world once again. We will continue the program here with Dr. Lazarus, who is very kind, caring and patiently explains everything.

My 14-year-old daughter has struggled with anxiety and depression for several years. We tried several different medications and none of them worked well for her. The last SSRI she was put on was Prozac and after a month of being on it, she ended up in the hospital. That’s when we decided to try something different and found AKC doing some research. I sent them a message to ask if they would even see her given that she is a minor, and they got back to me right away. My husband and I had a call with Dr. Lazarus before even making an appointment and he kindly answered the many questions we had about ketamine use, safety, etc. We started to see improvement on my daughter’s symptoms from the first treatment, so we kept going. She is doing so much better now and only goes in whenever she feels that she needs a little boost. In addition to seeing the results from the treatment, the staff and customer service are amazing. Every time we come in, a doctor comes to talk to us and answers any questions we have. They are knowledgeable and professional, and I especially appreciate their compassionate and unrushed care. I highly recommend this center to any parent who is desperate to find their teen the help and care they deserve.
