The Neuroscience Center - A Chicago Mental Health Clinic — Ketamine Clinic in Deerfield, IL

Going to this clinic was the worst decision in my life. I still suffer to this day, years later, from medical trauma. Dr. Best is childish, petty, and cruel, and his son, the office manager, is incompetent and cold. There are plenty of professional ketamine clinics across Chicagoland that will charge you a fraction of the cost and not force unnecessary vitamins through your IV (which costs extra). Dr. Best's office has garnered a reputation for traumatizing patients. When I have mentioned my experience here to other doctors and therapists they recognized his name with disdain. One of them even said he couldn't believe Best was still in practice. Wish I was joking. I went here from Oct 2020 to Aug 2021. I know the BS happening behind the scenes. Run.

I recently posted a negative review on this business. I want to apologize to the business and let them know I have deleted it. It was a different location. The center for neurology in Northbrook IL was the business where I had the negative experience.

I’ve known Dr. Best for 25 years. I was under his care as an adolescent, and I recently returned to his care as an adult. Dr. Best and his crew have taken excellent care of me. Dr. Best is a good guy. He will go the extra mile with you. He’s also brilliant. The staff are very warm, caring, and professional.

Thank you for saving my life!! I will always be forever grateful Dr. Best! I'm weightlifting and doing better everyday now. Thank you for all the education in all our counseling sessions Dr. Best it really did make all the difference!

Dr Best is the best Doctor I've ever had. He's the only doctor I've ever had who cares about me as a person and also my family. His knowledge and treatments are very well researched and they work!

I first met Dr. Best in 2018 when I was at the lowest point of my life. He looked me in the eyes and said that he could get me better. This man and his staff saved my life. The Neuroscience center works miracles. Dr. Best and his staff are truly remarkable. I look forward to going to the Neuroscience Center knowing I am getting the best care out there. Fast forward 5 years and I am a seasoned veteran here. Dr. Best is a pioneer, which is why other doctors and clinics may tend to have a different view than his own. I have seen countless lives get saved here and continue to see it. Financing these treatments is not the easiest and can be challenging. I understand the frustration with some reviews. Please note that Dr. Best is not a crook. He is kind, empathetic, and cares about you and his craft. Insurance companies are the real crooks!
