I personally see Gladys Kimeli and she is wonderful and so great to talk to. I needed in somewhere asap they got me right in and everyone is so nice. A family member needed in asap and they got them in the next week! I appreciate this place so much and would definitely recommend!

This place is better than awesome. I am not a patient here, l am one that signs him out for his treatment. I stay in the room with them the whole treatment. The people in there treat me just as good as they do their clients. I would recommend this place anytime.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The front staff are incompetent, SO rude, and flaky. They never seem to know what they are doing and blow off any concerns I had. Unfortunately because of this I am taking my son elsewhere.

I was struggling so much with my mental health prior to find State Street. I had spent years working with a family practice just going in circles with nothing helping. I’ve been seeing Becky for about a year now and my life has changed immensely. I feel seen, I feel heard. Not only has Becky been a saving grace in my life with her support and knowledge but the office staff as well are the most kind women I’ve ever met. I’ve called while in a crisis and the amount of care they shared with me lifted my spirits and gave me the strength to hang on. Words do not express how amazing they all are. I am beyond thankful and blessed to have found them. If you are struggling and are ready to see help. please give State Street a Call!! They are there for you.

Been a patient for years at this point, call asking for an emergency appointment cuz I'm having a breakdown and I couldn't even get past the receptionist telling me there was nothing they could do. Buyer beware

Ever since I’ve started coming here almost 2 years ago, my journey significantly changed! I’ve always have the best experiences in person and over the phone. The office staff is amazing and very helpful, Coco is wonderful and is usually working when I’m there and I always have the best interactions by scheduling appointments, etc. after seeing my doctor which is nice to have happen. I’m very thankful for them and the doctors here! I recommend State Street Behavioral to anyone looking for a new doctor.

This place is amazing! Abraham and Gladsy Kemeli are skilled professionals! The office manager Nicole is great! I would give them 10 starts , the secretaries are really nice and they dont give ya anxiety!! I've had a lot of mental health professionals in my day. These 2 are clearly the best!

Horrible office. I was a patient here for awhile, and got prescribed a medication that needed a prior authorization, and I had never had this before. I waited a week after the pharmacy said they were waiting on this, and eventually went to meet with my therapist (a different office) who said that prior authorizations shouldn’t take more than a day or two. So I called this office and asked what was going on, and was told the lady who does prior authorizations only does them once a week and they’d get to it when they get to it. Unreal. A few more weeks went by, still nothing. I had a follow up with my psychiatrist to see how I was doing on these meds coming up, and I was STILL waiting on the prior authorization. When you call & try to ask them about it, they will hang up on you if you ask them to do their job and cite it as you being aggressive when really, you’re just trying to advocate for yourself and your mental health. I ended up leaving this practice due to this, and went elsewhere. The new practice wanted my records so we submitted a request & MONTHS went by with nothing. I finally went back into this office to get the records myself & they said they never got a request (which I do not believe), and they don’t give records to patients. Which is against HIPAA laws, by the way. They did send the records to my new office after I went in there, but I should not have had to go in person, nor should the office staff have to be berated to do their job, whether it’s prior authorizations or sending paperwork. The psychiatrists don’t care & wont do anything about it. I tried reporting them through multiple avenues to the state but can’t seem to find the department that oversees this practice, since my issues are with the office staff and not the psychiatrists.

I have a hectic life with my special needs child. Sure I missed appointments. For 3 months I was really really sick. Couldn't breathe, in and out of the hospital. They said asthma and laryngitis. I called the next day cause I barely had a voice. Anyways, I've called for the last 3 months and even asked to refill meds. Yes I called and asked if I could get a letter stating why you wouldn't see me. Cmh lady called state street to see if they would take me back. Yes they would but I withdrew from there office. How when they never called and I had to ask my doctor to refill my meds and only had a week left. Dr. Gladys you suck, trying to put me on a blood pressure pill, wants me to drive 30mins away for her to ask me how my meds are. Well, want to ask what's going on and give me coping skills????? I would never recommend this psychiatrists.
