Please never do TMS. They won't tell you about the problems it can cause, they won't warn you. I have brain damage from it. I got the full treatment and I regret it so much. My memory is shot, I can barely remember anything short term when I used to be able to remember everything. I struggle with conversations, empathy and my anger now when I didn't before. I used to go to CentraCare even went to nystrom no one would listen to me but then I come here this woman listens to me finally I have found something that helps I am grateful that she is in this practice she's genuine not fake they have all kinds of options I've never even heard of they are way up to date if you need help or someone you know needs help with mental health I highly recommend you go here this lady is a blessing no kidding

Emily Luitjens is legitimately the best doctor I've ever visited with. She is exactly what I've always envisioned the people who go into this line of work would be like. She couldn't be a more pleasant and inviting person if she tried. I leave every appt with her feeling way above average good vibes for the rest of the day. If you want people that listen to you and don't just throw every med at you they can until one sticks this is definitely the place. I personally recommend Emily but every individual at Aurora is quite "Litty" as the kids say these days 10/10 come here for all your stay alive needs

I came here seeking treatment after I had trialed many types of medication in hopes of treating MDD, severe GAD, and BPD. Years of therapy felt like it was going nowhere, on top of that, so I decided to try Spravato. Unfortunately, my time here didn't change that for me. The experiences I had were confusing and troubling, which made it difficult to communicate with my therapist, and I was alone for the experience. There was nobody there to help me interpret what I was thinking and feeling, but I pushed on, and each time it only got worse. There IS staff around, they were very friendly, but the way this program is structured seems to rely fully on your ability to advocate for yourself, which is something I REALLY struggle to do. I see other people having had good experiences, so I guess this style of treatment just isn't for me. I'm now on quetiapine, which I don't enjoy, but I needed it after my time with Spravato.

It's difficult to put into words what ketamine feels like. But it's not difficult to describe the changes it brings me in my mental health. I was ready to die, 10/10 depression. After 4 months of ketamine my depression went from a 10 to a 6. The Staff is over the top exceptional. Jake is the most friendly man I've ever met in the medical field, and having deep trauma with men makes it is hard for me to even be around men, let alone trust them with my intravenous well being. I rarely have something good to say about men in this field. Exceptional attitude, pleasant and confident in his work. He's also the best IV stick I've ever experienced, and I've had hundreds of injections for chronic pain. I cannot praise this guy enough. Super skilled. Nati was born to be a nurse, she is knowledgeable and reassuring, with a bedside manner equivalent to the world's most attentive mother. Many nurses lack the basic capacity to be nurturing and loving, but this is what Nati is, naturally. She has gone above and beyond to help me with my continued struggle to make it through the treatments without nausea and dysphoria. She's a gem. The administrative Staff, Kayleigh and Kendra have been professional, helpful and return messages and even missed calls in a very timely fashion. They are understanding about reschedules and (justified) cancels for me. Before Kayleigh left for maternity leave I would pop in when I was in the area just to say hello to her. Very approachable, and fun to chat with, a great communicator. The treatments happen in a private room with a wonderful recliner. They watch your vitals, and give you support with iv steroids and anti nausea meds if needed.They have been persistent in getting me to a place that is a good dose for me. They are so patient if you have any issues. This place is a very important part of me staying alive, and the Staff I consider friends. It's one of the only medical places that understand how to treat people with severe mental illness and depression. I love Aurora. Thank you Aurora.

Emily and her staff are absolutely amazing! I have had the worst time trying to find a treatment for my OCD. Most people don’t seem to know what it is or even try to understand it. But Emily and her staff not only fully understand, But they’re finally providing me with a treatment that is actually starting to work and they are nice enough to accommodate some of the more quirky symptoms I have of my OCD. I started about four or so months ago and already I’ve seen some improvements. Thank you, Aurora Wellness!
