After years of seeing multiple specialists with little progress, we were fortunate to find Dr. Sullivan at Initia Nova. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly listens. The SPG and other nerve blocks he provided have made a huge difference for my son’s headaches and migraines. Dr Sullivan knows you personally you are not just a file he grabs when he walks in like most practices these days. We drive 1.5 hours each way just to see him because finding someone who cares that much is worth the drive.

I want everyone to know about Dr. Sullivan and his team at Initia Nova! I have been suffering from Fibromyalgia since 2020. Dr. Sullivan worked with me to identify the correct course of TMS therapy to relieve my pain and fatigue and my life has been changed for the better! My all-over pain is gone and my fatigue has improved dramatically - I've gone from needing a 2-hour nap almost every day to needing a nap only about once a week and typically after a particularly tiring activity. I can keep to a regular exercise routine for the first time in years! I can spend time with friends and family, scheduling multiple social outings in a day, which used to be impossible. I am so grateful to Dr. Sullivan and his team (Keith & Alicia!) for the friendly, comfortable atmosphere and their ability to be flexible with my treatment and try different courses until we achieved the outcome we were looking for. I have had Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) since 2006, and it, and its severe pain, has progressed through the entire right side of my body. I am permanently disabled and virtually housebound. I started working with Dr. Patrick Sullivan at Initia Nova & Ketamine Therapy in Cherry Hill, NJ in June of 2024. It was immediately clear that Dr. Sullivan is one of those rare doctors who cares deeply about his patients and their quality of life. When I reached out to his practice for a question about ketamine infusions, I was stunned when he not only called me back, but took a significant amount of time to understand why I was requesting that particular treatment, what my medical need for it was, AND what other reasons had caused me to try to find new sources for the infusions. He then discussed possible options and different treatments that might be helpful. I was not even an “official” patient of his yet! Dr. Sullivan considers the patient as a whole person, rather than focusing narrowly on the specific disease requiring treatment. Treatments and recommendations are tailored to each person's specific needs. He looks for additional factors that might complicate patients' responses to treatment, or that might help them, and he takes the time to answer questions thoroughly. And it's not just Dr. Sullivan. Every person I've interacted with at his practice has been friendly, helpful, and caring towards the needs of the patient. Since being a patient at Initia Nova, I have experienced a noticeable decrease in my daily pain levels and my quality of life has markedly improved. I'm now able to occasionally visit with friends outside my home, to work on my creative writing, and, most importantly, to exist in a body that is filled with less pain. I am extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Sullivan and his practice.

I had my first appointment with Dr Patrick Sullivan on 9/5/ 2024 . I was completely broken mentally , physically , emotionally and spiritually. .My symptoms were severe insomnia , burning skin , internal vibrations , feelings of electrical current running through my body which all caused suicidal ideations . I also have chronic lyme , bartonella and long covid . Dr Sullivan saved my life . I went down the path of multiple doctors( mainstream and functional )and sleep supplements and anxiety meds ,which did not work .Ketamine was then mentiond to me and I was recommended to Dr Sullivan who thoroughly studied my case and called my doctors before taking me on as a patient . I’m am on my 14th infusion and I started to see big improvement at the 10th one . I never had a problem during an infusion but things did get worse for me before I started to get better . The reason why I stayed with it was because I felt so safe and cared for with dr sullivan . His IV nurses were also skilled and caring .. Dr S stayed with me and talked with me each time . I’m realizing from my talks with Dr S and the IV treatments that many of my issues were caused by OCD . A fix it type of OCD and worry for many years . Get a consultation and possibly get to the root cause of your problem and you may heal too .Im down to one infusion every 3 weeks right now . I’m living again as I’m healing more and more each day . I was referred to Dr. Sullivan by my psychiatrist to help me both put down a serious addiction & manage my treatment-resistent depression. I'm one year sober now, and not planning on giving up anytime soon. 👍 Dr. Sullivan is kind, very patient & easy to talk to. He'd check in with me occasionally between visits to see how I was doing. The therapist, Rena, was a great guide while I acclimated to the experience. I didn't have a negative experience with any of the nurses (or at all, in general) whom were all friendly as well. Throughout all of my sessions, there was never an interruption, and they always made sure I was comfortable. The usual harsh florescent ceiling lights were always turned off in favor of more relaxed homey lighting once the infusion was underway, and I was never rushed out of the room at the end. They always gave me plenty of time after removing the IV to process my experience & get my bearings. Overall, I haven't had a single negative or uncomfortable experience here & highly recommend them to anyone seeking ketamine infusions or KAP 👌

Dr. Patrick Sullivan is the ONLY doctor who was able to successfully help me with my physical dependence on opioids. My quality of life has improved dramatically thanks to his advanced treatment modalities and his ability to think outside the traditional medical box. Twenty years ago my pain management doctor started me on opioid therapy for chronic pain that had become too severe for NSAIDs and other modalities. After only three months of taking opiates for my pain, I wanted to discontinue them because of several negative side effects. Over the last 20 years, with my doctor's approval and supervision, I unsuccessfully tried 14 times to wean off the opioids using various methods including an expensive "rapid detox" which failed miserably. I considered a standard detox at INPATIENT facilities but decided against it because of their methods of "detoxing" patients and their notoriously dismal failure rate. It made no sense to take Suboxone, a narcotic, to get me off a narcotic. It just made no sense to me. Also, they treated patients as if they were mere numbers. Then I came across Dr. Sullivan and Initia Nova. I contacted Patrick through his website and we communicated for over two months by email. I've never come across a doctor who was so willing to answer all of my questions in such great detail requiring so much of his time. We must have emailed some twenty times over two months. He invited me to meet for a free consultation during which we made a tentative plan for how he might be able to get me off opioids using innovative methods. His plan made complete sense to me and we scheduled my OUTPATIENT treatment for opioid dependence. Patrick's treatment plan worked perfectly! I'm writing this review on the 50th day that I've been free of opiates!! I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with my results. Dr. Sullivan is the kind of doctor that we all hear about and hope for but rarely encounter. He is totally professional and more compassionate and patient than any physician I've ever met. His wealth of medical knowledge is truly impressive. He treats the individual patient and not just the patient's medical problems. This is incredibly rare. Even more rare is that he is using modalities that are at the cutting edge of medicine. If not for Patrick and his willingness to use these modalities, I would still be physically dependent on opioids. I would encourage anyone to contact Dr. Sullivan as I believe you will not find a better doctor anywhere. 2024 Update: Dr. Sullivan's treatment (in November of 2019) was a long term success. In the past five years, I've never had to resume opioids because of opioid dependence. Again, thank you Dr. Sullivan. And thanks to all the staff and nurses who assisted him in my treatment. You guys are the Right Stuff!

It's been a little over one year since I started my treatment with Dr. Sullivan. It's hard to articulate the words to say a proper thank you for all of the positive changes Dr. Sullivan and his team brought into my life. The care, patience, and genuine passion for what they do has made a significant impact on me. Every day, I find myself grateful for the circumstance that led me to Initia Nova. In the span of just one year, my life went through a complete transformation. When I came to see Dr. Sullivan I was at the lowest I had ever been, I didn’t see a way out, I didn’t see light at the end, I was desperate and sick. I didn’t know if I would or could ever be ok again. My OCD, depression and anxiety were the worst they had ever been. I was barely functioning and I didn't know what else to do. Our sessions are a highlight of my week, and they've allowed me to live more freely, honestly, and openly. I also wanted to let all of the nurses know how thankful I am for them. My experience at Initia Nova has been superb. I have struggled with intractable depression and have tried ketamine treatment at other clinics without much impact or long-term success. What has made the difference at Initia Nova is Dr. Sullivan’s extensive experience and depth of knowledge in the field and his ability and willingness to individualize treatment for each patient. He is attentive and responsive. I see him at every appointment and am able to ask follow-up questions via email. Dr. Dougherty in the Wilmington clinic is also a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. In the Wild West of ketamine right know, finding a reputable clinic with responsible, knowledgeable doctors is key. I live near Philly and travel to Cherry Hill because I would not go anywhere else in the area. Because of the individualized treatment I’m receiving at Initia Nova, my mental health has greatly improved, and we have found a maintenance plan that is working well for me. I highly recommend that patients interested in trying ketamine to ease their suffering go to one of the two Initia Nova clinics—even if they have to travel a bit farther than they might for other clinics nearby. You really don’t want to risk getting sub-par treatment elsewhere.

I have been going to Initia Nova since December 2022 for ketamine therapy. Dr. Sullivan and his team are some of the kindest, caring medical personnel I've ever come in contact with. Ketamine has helped my treatment resistant depression so much and has allowed me to finally live my life again. Dr. Sullivan works very carefully to tailor the medication to your specific needs.
