AKS is a top of the line practice. Not only did I greatly benefit from the ketamine treatments, I found the entire staff to be professional, knowledgeable, loving and highly competent. Sarah in particular was stellar. She was highly skilled, experienced, warm and reassuring, always pleasant and confident.

Dr. Foster and the entire medical team at AKS are incredibly professional, caring, and experienced. Sarah is the shining star though! I was in desperate need of hope and I had a life transformational experience after my first visit! I have had medication resistant depression for many years. Ketamine is a game changer for me. The nurse Sarah is one of the kindest, caring healthcare practitioners I have ever interacted with. She is so knowledgeable and you can tell she has a passion for what she does. I have severe chronic pain and she has been helping me get to the right dose for pain relief. She has a lot of compassion and always walks me to my ride after. We really need more people like Sarah in the medical field.

Dr. Foster, Sara and crew have one of the most helpful therapeutic modalities I’ve ever encountered which has helped me a great deal with struggles around depression, anxiety and addictions. Profound positive life changes are possible; especially when combining the ketamine treatment with journaling and talk therapy.

I've been struggling with mood disorder, depression, anxiety and PTSD for my entire life. I've tried the "old school", hard-nosed approach, I've worked with the VA, which is hit and miss and ultimately I felt myself slipping further and further away from those closest to me. I wasn't aware that Ketamine treatment was an option here in Texas until a friend mentioned that there were clinics in our area. Long story long, I came in not knowing what to expect and I was blown away by the kindness and bedside manner of the staff. It wasn't the cliché, rapport as in a typical doctor's office. I genuinely felt the staffs warmth and happiness for me and the steps I'm taking to improve who I am as a person. The facilities were very nice and the entire set up was well thought out. Speaking only for myself, I opened up immediately to wherever the journey would take me and I've never felt so much relief from the shame and bottled-up self hate that I've carried with me throughout the years. I'm beyond grateful to have experienced the treatment and I encourage anyone with the funding to give it a try. Everyone deserves to feel happy. Everyone deserves to let go of whatever trauma they carry with them. And everyone deserves a second chance at life. To anyone reading this review. You deserve to have everything feel okay. You've dealt with the pain long enough. You owe it to yourself.

If only back office was as great as front office! Back office mistakenly told me my cost per session was $200 when it was actually $400, and they didn’t tell me until after my second session…thankfully, they accounted for the fault made by someone that’s reportedly no longer employed by AKS. Then when I attempted to transfer to a new clinic, AKS didn’t transfer all the documents that were required, nor did they answer 5-10 missed calls from myself or the new clinic. They did respond to one text though, saying that they would take care of it right away, but this was never done either, despite communicating that I couldn’t continue treatment until they sent these documents. Finally, after 5 weeks of contact attempts by both of us, my new clinic thankfully pushed me through to scheduling due to ALS’ unresponsiveness. I really wish my first ketamine clinic was a better experience that really only prolonged badly needed progress made possible by a treatment protocol that should’ve finished 2 months ago.

AKS is the place to go for ketamine treatment. The staff all go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible. They have truly changed my life for the better.
