Full on scam, do NOT use. I cancelled my appointment and services back in May of 2025, they have been charging my card $175 no show every month. I have called multiple times with no call back. Every time I call they say it’s a new billing dept and they cannot see anything before September 1st and will forward my account to that dept with a call back. I have received zero call backs and cannot get any supervisor or manager on the call. This is a nightmare situation

My experience at Mindful Health Solutions working with Dr. Bobbi Porche has been by FAR my best experience with any psychiatrist. Dr. Porche, along with the staff (and office manager, Lauren), was very attentive to my needs as I worked with them for general medication management, TMS, and eventually Spravato. Though at times I know the office staff was understaffed they were always as attentive as possible. I truly felt like they cared--something I had not previously experience in psychiatric care. It became a highlight of my week to receive treatment as I knew I was going to a safe place with individuals who cared. If I had to give advice to anyone starting at the clinic, I would say to verbalize your needs and to advocate for yourself. This setting is different than a therapy setting where your needs might be better anticipated. Speak up, send messages, be as vocal as you can (kindly!). I guarantee they genuinely care and will do their best to support you. I hope Mindful Health Solutions management knows what an amazing team they have in Houston and provides them with the support and resources necessary for them to effectively accomplish their mission of helping individuals who are struggling.

First let me say Dr. Daboval is fantastic. He is very empathetic and kind, and listens to you. My problem with MHS is their billing department. Like many others, I was also surprised with an unauthorized charge of $150. I am not sure where the charge came from considering I hadn’t had an appointment for two weeks. I called the billing department which subsequently directed me to a Spanish speaking call center. I then contacted the clinic which said they escalated it but I have not heard back via phone nor the portal. I called the call billing department again today where they actually did speak English but it sounded as if the person was an AI bot. My money is in limbo and the best I have heard after contacting the billing department the second time (which by the way is just an offshore general call center for multiple random clinics) is that they will get back to me in 7 business days because they have NO record of the charge, even though I can see it on my bank statement and was emailed a receipt from the clinic at 3 AM. Mindful health solutions needs to do better with their billing department. This is very saddening.

I don’t recommend this clinic because they didn’t have good service, the just try to take you to the limit to offer the expensive treatment and today they took my money from my account charging me almost 200 after a year and I didn’t authorized this, they just steal your money literally, I have an anxiety attack because they got all this money from my account

We made an appointment with Mindful Solutions on Binz for my son to get help. He had just come home from college and asked us to help him because he was feeling depressed, among other issues. We had submitted all of the required insurance information and personal data a month before. Upon arrival to the doctor's office, we were informed by their office personnel that "we had zero co-pay" and "it looked like our deductible had been met for the year." With this information provided, we were under the impression that our insurance was covering the visit. At no point did the office staff indicate that my son's visit would be a "self-pay". We were not given the opportunity to make an informed decision at the time of service. Furthermore, they informed us that "because services have already been rendered," we were not eligible to be considered for any kind of adjustment. I also spoke with the billing department about the very poor and unethical practice of not fully informing the patient of their financial responsibility BEFORE being seen. I was informed that "it is our responsibility to know our coverage", which, although true, does not excuse the doctor's office from at least informing the patient that they will be considered self-pay. I was informed they would "look into it," and I never received a call back. In the end, my son only paid for an assessment and was unable to return for any treatment. We lost time, money, and didn't receive any help.

What a waste of time and travel, free but totally a rip off. Seen Dr. Manual Guillen. I was crying, no response, asking questions, blank stare, it was horrific. Then he offered my 50% of the lifetime dose and will not refill unless He is Paid again. I'm having a episode would love to alert someone. Just Some one!

This psychiatrist is great. He tends to your needs and work with you for the best treatment available.

Arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment, did the pre check in, and all paperwork needed prior to my appointment. I checked in at the front office and was told the MD would be out shortly. (I specifically scheduled an IN PERSON appointment for my initial appointment/consult). I arrived to my appointment early, checked in, waited for a bit (as I was early), then was told the MD I was seeing was not in office- all about 10 minutes prior to my appointment. The secretary said that I was contacted the morning of my appointment, but I have no missed calls or voicemails from the practice, and definitely none today. No missed text messages or emails either. I confirmed my phone number on file with the receptionist and informed them I had no missed calls or voicemails today. The receptionist said that a call was documented this morning. No calls or voicemails from them on my end though... weird! The receptionist then said my appointment would take place over zoom, and sent me the login for the zoom meeting. I then sat for 10 minutes in the zoom waiting room, then asked the receptionist if the MD would be joining the call. She confirmed with the MD that he was ready for the session, but did not see me in the waiting room. I then used the zoom meeting ID that the MD provided to me. I waited for another minute- at this time it was 4:15 and it seemed I was not going to have my appointment. The secretary was apologetic and told me the MD was at home quarantining due to Covid. I'm not one to complain but it seems there are major issues going on at this clinic. No communication between practice, patients, and staff. False documentation, as in the practice telling me they tried to contact me, is a red flag. if someone made a mistake, that's fine, but at least be truthful about it. I'm annoyed that I wasted my time but relieved this came up and I was shown the problems with this clinic up front. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on my experience.

Dr. James Harold is a great doctor who listened to what my needs are and has outstanding bedside manners when speaking with his patients. Craig D.
