My daughter was inpatient there and her experience was very good, she felt very comfortable and cared for the nurses and doctors,
A wonderful and powerful setting. Great therapists, doctors, nurses and if you choose to participate in the process you will heal.
My sister is currently a patient here and I am deeply concerned about her treatment. She’s a cancer survivor whose metal health has suffered recently for a multitude of reasons, ending in this hospitalization. My sister has a background in medicine, and she says her wounds are not being properly dressed and they’re not allowing her to take measures to keep them dry during bathing. Her medications are also not being delivered in a timely manner and the over all attitude is one of apathy. We had desperately wanted her to receive help but thus far all she’s received is lack of care. I am very concerned she will leave sicker, not better. I would not recommend sending a person you care for here. *According to their automated message system, the extension 1701 does not exist.
One of the worst waiting time 3 hrs waiting for No one called us back
Edited after feedback from owner: the extension you have been posting to bad reviews Ashley, if that’s even a person at the facility, is not a valid one! I tried going that route before posting this and forgot to mention this additional detail in my original post. If I could give zero stars, I would… This place is awful for anyone that cares about their loved one! BEWARE, do not send your loved one here willingly, otherwise you will get no communication about what they are doing to them and If they are doing better or worse. Our family member was taken in on a 72 hour hold because he was going through a mental breakdown after having lost his father. The 72 hour hold was supposed to be up on the day of his father’s memorial service, no one would return my calls to Ask them if he could view the service at least on FaceTime because he needed that closure. I went up in person twice and told them the information two days prior to they told me they would give the information to the doctor, that never happened. This place is a letdown, they are supposed to help your mental health so far they are only hurting his. He was taken in on a Friday afternoon so no actual assigned doctor has seen him and it is Tuesday lunchtime. He would contact us by phone several times throughout the day, but there have been two days where we hear nothing for 12+ hours so we have no idea what is being done for him. I don’t know how any insurance company would cover paying for this place! Maybe I will be able to get someone to actually contact me back through this route because it’s been more than 72 hours and we have not received any kind of communication from an actual doctor as to why his hold has been extended and what the plan is to help make him better!
Brought my daughter here for help she needed desperately. The staff here is absolutely amazing. I know it can be scary to leave your child in a place like this and feel guilty, but I promise, even though it's hard, it is so worth it in the end. My daughter is a handful, but no matter how angry or upset she got, the staff worked with her to calm her down and keep her safe. It is hard to get a call back, but you have to remember they are actively with patients, they aren't hanging out by the phone at all times. They took the time to listen to my and my daughter's concerns, and addressed all of them and did the legwork to find a medication that would better work for my daughter. I know it's hard, but the first step is the hardest. Be sure to visit every wed, sat and Sunday and actively work with the staff. They are wonderful.
Facility is clean. Staff were professional and helpful. The intake specialist was kind and compassionate. Its tough to need these services, but the people there genuinely care. Food isn't great but otherwise, no complaints.
This place is ridiculous. My daughter is currently a patient here and I should have taken her somewhere else. I read the reviews after taking her and see there has been an issue in professionalism when it comes to this hospital. I call and can not get any response back. After talking with the front desk (Susan) was told it was above her pay grade to help me. She said that the phones weren’t working in my daughter unit and that my complaints could be made to the CEO Bruce whole works M-Friday, yet here we are on a Thursday and he is exempt from working because it’s a holiday. Yet patients are still there because this is a 24/7 facility… do your research before sending your loved one here. Especially if you would still like to communicate with them while they are getting treatment.
