The therapists and providers are great, but the office staff truly are incompetent and just horrible to work with. I was having an extremely difficult mental health situation and reached out to my therapist for help and set up an appointment the next day. Donna Stuck at the business office cancelled my appointment an hour before it was supposed to start due to payment, even though I made a payment that same day. The office did not believe me and had to “wait until it was confirmed with the billing office”. By the time they got around to “checking” that, my appointment slot was long over and I was made to deal with my difficult situation alone with no communication from my therapist, as I am assuming they are told not to communicate with patients at all until billing is resolved. Additionally, the billing situation is so confusing and all over the place- there’s multiple different entities involved with billing and they don’t talk to each other. You make a payment with one and another can’t see it, so you’re just in an endless cycle of figuring out who you made a payment to and if the billing office updated your payments. This billing situation alone caused me to leave this practice- if a patient has reached out to their therapist for mental health help, it should be addressed right away instead of questioning whether or not they’re telling the truth about making a payment. What a horrible situation to be put in when you’re reaching out for help.
