I’m updating my review in order to share my experience with receiving Stellate Ganglion Blocks for PTSD related anxiety. These are performed by Dr. Fiske who is one of the founders of Acute Pain. I’m amazed at how well this procedure works! If you suffer with chronic anxiety from PTSD you should get a referral to come see Dr. Fiske. I have these done every 3 months now and they have helped me tremendously. Dr. Fiske and Dr. Julian are both constantly evolving their practice in order to better serve their patients. I am very grateful to be a patient here. All the staff are so dedicated and kind and genuinely good people. Acute Pain Therapies has changed my life for the better in numerous ways. My chronic pain has become manageable for the first time since I fractured my neck in 2007. My depression is so much better now, I actually feel happy and have so much more energy and motivation. The staff here are truly phenomenal, they genuinely care and are the very best at what they do. I could write a book about how much I appreciate the people that are Acute Pain Therapies and am truly blessed to be a patient here. Thank you for helping me live a much better life than I ever thought was possible! I’m now seeing Chloe Nurse Practitioner for on going management of my pain and she performs Trigger Point Injections for me monthly. They are very helpful for my Trapezius muscles as they seize up constantly. She’s very gentle with her injections and makes the procedure much smoother than most . I really enjoy the collaboration between her and myself as we work together on how to manage chronic pain and improve the quality of life for me. Chloe genuinely cares and listens and asks intuitive questions in order to better understand what I am going through. Chloe is wonderful and I’m thankful that she’s part of my treatment team here at Acute Pain Therapies.

Both Dr. Fisk and Dr. Julian are top notch providers as well as all of their support staff. They have drastically helped improve my quality of life. Highly recommended!

I am a patient here. My provider Chloe, is wonderful and treats my pain. She provides me with compassionate and non-judgmental care. She gets five starts from me. I hate that I have to do this, but the billing department has become horrendous and I’ve exhausted all methods to try and contact them. Since December, they have been filing claims out of network. Nothing about my plan changed- the way they filed the claims changed. If the are out of network, I was certainly never notified. Apparently a new billing team took over in December. I have called and emailed multiple times over the last two months, as has my insurance provider. The phone number for the billing department doesn’t work. I have asked for the billing department to call me and I don’t receive a call back. I have asked for the office manager to call me and don’t receive a call back. I’m someone who deals with chronic pain and stress aggravates my condition. I am currently not working because of my chronic pain condition so I am hyper aware of my expenses right now. I should not have to be dealing with this or a false and high bill because my claims remain uncorrected. I certainly hope someone from the clinic sees this and calls me immediately to remedy this situation.

I am always treated with the upmost dignity and respect when I have my appointments at Acute Pain Therapies. . The staff at the front desk (Peter) goes beyond his job requirements to be welcoming, helpful and friendly!! Dr. Chloe Kennedy is also warm, great at explaining things, and validating the patients explanation of their pain . She is gentle and kind. A wonderful addition to the practice! Of course, Dr. Fiske is excellent at listening and understanding what the patient is expressing. I have always felt heard and taken seriously about my pain when he has been with me. I feel trusting and safe there especially since some drastic changes were made in the staff about in the last couple of years. Thank you for being a safe place for myself and others who are suffering to come for help! I also want to thank Dr. Julian for her great help in doing the different types of ablations and other medical injections.
