Ive struggled with depression and anxiety my whole life, since childhood really. Ive been on various antidepressants and meds, but they never reallt helped. That is until I was treated with a series of ketamine IVs at VIVA. The nurse practioners were so kind, sat with me, explained the different way ketamine worked on the brain vs typical antidepressants. I was skeptical but after knowing someone personally treated by VIVA, and witnessing their changes, I knew it was time for me. Yes it was an investment, but from the moment i walked in, i felt supported, never judged. I also love the clinic atmosphere, not like the sterile psychiatric offices I have been so used to. You can tell, VIVA cares about the experience and you. Im now down to every few months treatment when i feel my mood dipping, an infusion resets me within a day. It’s like it gives me a new brain, which Ive never thought possible. Im truky grateful to them and the caring team. I hope mental health treatment changes widespread to their model of care.
