UPDATE 2/12/2026: Everyone, including my regular provider Claris, have continued to be amazing and supportive. Another person I would like to praise is Morgan Mory, in document processing, who has been very attentive and considerate and helpful with my request for some personal documentation. Thank you! UPDATE 7/17/24: I have been seeing Claris Bangura (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) for about a month now and she has been so kind and understanding. She has been so careful to listen to me and my concerns; it seems like she cares about me getting on the right medications as well as about me feeling heard and supported. I truly appreciate the help Advanced Psychiatry Associates and Claris have given me; things have improved so much since I first reached out to them. Additionally, they make it very easy to pay my copay. Paul Murphy helped me pay my current copay earlier today and also helped me add my card to my account to make billing easier in the future. Advanced Psychiatry Associates genuinely seems to have such a good team that coordinates their care efficiently and empathetically. I will update this post at least one more time once I have my follow up appointment with the psychiatrist (M.D.) as well. I reached out to schedule an appointment and Leo was very kind, patient, and helpful. As someone who has been feeling sort of poorly lately, it was very comforting and helpful to have a medical office be so responsive and considerate. They were able to schedule me for a general screening right away, and for a regular psych visit within the next month. Genuine thanks to Leo who helped me to schedule these appointments.
