Consultation is not just for suggesting take this medicine prescribed and schedule a next appointment. Its about how much effectively first your talk to your patient and that was totally missing when I had a discussion with Dr. Kavita. Not at all good experience and felt like just check marking the list of question and thats it. Think even before you make your initial appointment here. Thanks.

My son became a patient of Dr Sandeep Gaonkar when his last psychiatrist was no longer within the health plan network, and I am truly grateful he came into our lives. I have great admiration and respect for the work of Dr. Gaonkar and would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with Psychotic Disorders and other mental health issues. Dr Gaonkar makes you feel comfortable, and he really listens to what you have to say. He truly cares about his patients' wellbeing. He always conducts himself in a courteous and professional manner. During one of our past visits, my son was upset with being told he could not use certain drugs that would deter his treatment and angrily told Dr. Gaonkar that he wanted a new doctor! Dr Gaonkar responded in a way I was not expecting. He told him, “If you want another doctor, that is fine, but first I want to get you better.” With every visit, he speaks about his progress and offers hope of getting his mental health to a stable and functional place. We tried every medication on the market for his illness and believe we have finally found the right combination, as he is doing much better than he has done before! Keep up the great work Dr Gaonkar and please, don't ever change professions. We need more knowledgeable and caring doctors such as yourself!!!
