Great alternative option for teens. I can’t recommend Tim enough as a counselor. He’s thoughtful, grounded, and genuinely cares about the people he works with. Summary – My experience with ketamine therapy and the Transcend Health Solutions team was overwhelmingly positive, and I would recommend working with them without reservation. ––– Full Review After trying talk therapy and anti-anxiety medication for extended periods of time, both of which helped but didn't quite "fix" my anxiety or depression, I decided to explore ketamine therapy. During the session, you sit in a comfortable chair with your therapist and nurse in a quiet, calmly lit room. First your nurse places your IV in preparation for the ketamine infusion. Next you spend 30 minutes with your therapist and set an intention for the session. Then the ketamine infusion begins, and as you recline with an eye mask on, visuals begin to appear as you talk through the topic. You finish by debriefing on the session with your therapist as you come down from the ketamine infusion. Generally, the ketamine creates an emotional distance between you and the topics that enables you to engage with them fully. We covered a variety of different subjects and experiences that I believed might be contributing to my anxiety and depression, as well as some that came up unexpectedly but were clearly matters I needed to talk through. Throughout the course, my therapist displayed a high degree of empathy and understanding, and always made me feel at ease even when discussing difficult topics. By the end of my treatment, my anxiety issues had improved immensely and my depression symptoms felt fully resolved. The staff are all incredibly welcoming and professional, and I would highly recommend the group to anyone seeking help with persistent mental health challenges.

I told my boyfriend I was sad to meet Annabel in this setting because I now we can’t be best friends but I will get by knowing I have her guidance and support to get me through the darkest of days. I can only describe the treatment itself as magical. I completed six sessions (plus a couple of talk therapy integration sessions) and experienced significant shifts in how I relate to myself, my nervous system regulation, and my ability to show up authentically. I fundamentally reconnected with who I actually am beneath layers of hypervigilance and people-pleasing patterns. I’m not ‘fixed’ and my problems didn’t magically go away, but I have the capacity to deal with whatever life throws my way. My time at Transcend Health Solutions was exactly what I needed after losing my father and going through a year of back to back difficult events. As someone who can get overwhelmed in intense environments, the attention to detail around ambiance made a huge difference. Overall, I am incredibly grateful I chose Transcend for this deep healing work. It was the right place, the right people, and the right support at the right time. Transcend has wonderful and well educated staff. They are very open, caring, and empathetic towards patients. The intake process feels very safe even while in crisis and they do everything in their power to reinforce patients autonomy. Treatment here has quite literally saved my life and is actively putting me on track for a better future.

I can not say enough amazing things about Transcend Health Solutions. The staff there is amazing. They do a great job of communicating and making you feel welcomed and work with you every step of the way. Will, the Director of Operations, is great. He is extremely knowledgeable about medication and a master of his craft, hes support and personal sharing helped to enhance the experience. Tim is by far the best Therapist I have ever worked with. He genuinely cared, helped to prepared me for the journey we took together. There was no judgement and it was safe to share everything. It felt very much like a personal experience. For the first time in my life I finally feel good. Ive been on many different antidepressants for years and for the first time i feel as though the root cause has been addressed and the support needed to get through was provided. I no longer feel the need to self medicate with drugs or alcohol. Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is a life changer and I am looking forward to my future! The therapy I have recommended at Transcend has been on another level. I came to Ketamine therapy with hopes of resolving some dark and unresolved childhood trauma… the wounds were so festered and my mind was so tangled in trying to make sense of it all. The result has been life changing. The most important part of this entire experience has been the therapists. I have never met therapists that have so carefully and meticulously navigated the recesses of my mind, and that have so delicately handled the deepest and darkest parts of my past. Without them, the ketamine is as good as any quick fix…. I have tried other places that simply leave you in the room alone while it is administered. It’s basically useless if you actually want to reap the long term effects of this therapy. That is NOT what happens here, they are there the entire time, they guide you every step of the way, and they handle these situations with the utmost respect and compassion… I came out of each session with an entirely new perspective I am incredibly grateful and highly recommend this place for anyone that suffers from wounds that will not heal. I will continue to receive regular talk therapy with the therapists here. They are phenomenal.

I am a fairly new patient at Transcend Austin location. This clinic has been good to me in that I’m able to receive ketamine treatments here at a fair rate and have psychotherapy included. I’ve experienced warmth from the staff and felt understood. They take my feedback well and adjust to my needs to allow for effective healing. There are quite a few places which offer ketamine treatment, but I’m happy I chose transcend.
