I left this appointment feeling rushed, dismissed, and genuinely uncomfortable. While I was in the middle of answering the doctor’s questions and sharing my concerns, she abruptly stood up mid-sentence and said, “Let’s go back to the front,” effectively ending the visit without explanation. I was confused and caught off guard. The appointment lasted less than 30 minutes. Once I agreed to the proposed treatment change (switching to Lamotrigine), the visit seemed to end immediately. There was no wrap-up, and no sense that my concerns were fully heard. Additionally, the doctor repeatedly pushed for me to refer my daughter to her, which felt inappropriate given how rushed and impersonal my own visit was. A comment accompanied by a smirk regarding my daughter being single at age 30 was particularly unprofessional and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience felt dismissive and lacking empathy. I would not recommend this provider and would be open to transferring my care to another physician within the Frisco office.
