Viking Psychiatry & Wellness Fort Wayne — Ketamine Clinic in Fort Wayne, IN

As apparently after being a patient for awhile, my insurance isn't working. So I can no longer go. I am taking medication and I'm not sure how I will be able to continue on my meds

Recently had my first visit here for medication management, and LOVED IT. From the receptionist, to the therapy dog, to the provider who listened intently to each and every concern I had. I felt heard, welcomed, and overall IMPORTANT. Highly recommend for anyone needing psychiatric assistance, not a single complaint.

Moving from Ohio to Fort Wayne I needed a new place to continue my Spravato maintenance schedule nearby, Doctor Goddard and his team are extremely capable, have true concern for patients and create a warm atmosphere.

The NP is good, but I can't recommend Viking. I literally got in a car wreck on my way to an appt and missed it. They are now refusing to waive it or, more importantly, treat me/give care unless I pay the one and only missed appointment fee I have for them. They also won't test you for certain disorders unless you pay out of pocket (they won't accept insurance). Honestly, I'd look somewhere else. Edit to add: Around forty minutes after this review was posted, they called me repeatedly. After blocking them because they wouldn't stop calling, they reached out to my emergency contact (that I did not authorize them to contact for billing or appointment reasons) to try and get to me. I also think the dog responding is incredibly infantilising and rude. How dare a psychiatrist reduce my complaints to an answer you would give a child. I would like to reiterate that there are probably better options.

I was nervous to see a new psychiatrist due to the negative experience I had with my last care team. I have been blown away at the level of care I have received at Viking psychiatry from my first initial phone call to now. Everyone has been kind, compassionate, and truly listened to all of my concerns. I feel like I have hope again for my future and I’m grateful to have found Viking.

Was rushed through appointment. Was their on time and still told normally patient given 40 minutes but he only had 20 minutes for me. Give my family physician false information. I went there to get help with coping with alot of health issues. Cancer,fibromyalgia, and extensive nerve damage in my neck. I was given disability 17 years ago with chronic pain, fibryomalgia,sjorgrens and all that sent me into a severe depression that i was hospitalized for 7 days and had trouble tolerating many antidepressants. To go to a mental health facility and get treated like i did is awful and not offered any other kind of help at all.

I was able to work with Sean Goddard directly, and it was an exceptional experience. I had suspected I had ADHD for a long time, but finally worked up to getting an actual evaluation. Sean provided me with multiple assessments and a detailed 40 page evaluation after submission. I got so many answers, and everything made sense and lined up! I'm so glad I've got answers and steps I can take to improve the quality of my life!
